A New Animation by Lupin III's Monkey Punch for 2013!!

Hi the year end is approaching. How are you doing? 

Monkey Punch, known for Lupin the Third, will release a new TV animation series in 2013. Takao provided the original idea.

The series is called Roman, Heroes at the end of Edo era ( my rough translation of Japanese original title " 浪漫  幕末義人伝 Roman, Bakumatsugijinden ").  

The animation concept is based on the characters of Puchinko game, a gambling machine in Japan, "CR Genroku Gijinden Roman/CR元禄義人伝 浪漫 " in 2011. 

The voice actor for the main character Roman is Kazuya Nakai. Roman is a lazy worker daytime but in the night time he turns to be a hero to take what is stolen from the public back to the public.

Of course, as coming from the gambling machine character, he is into gambling and also not really good at it.

The opening song is RanTiKi by Yukino

The ending song is Zarathustra by Hige
