TV animation series of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure started on TOKYO MX TV channel in October, 2012. It is kinda mid night but we should be well awake to watch it!
Hirohiko Araki( born in Sendai, Miyagi in 1960) started creating this series in 1987 on Weekly Comic JUMP. It has been popular with kids and adults( who were basically kids in 1980s) ever since.
As Araki was into fashion/trends the characters are uniquely designed; somewhat fashion models. He had an exhibition called "JOJO IN PARIS" of his works in 2006 in France.
There are many toy/figures, video games from this series. Recently LG even released the mobile phone based on this manga, L-06D JOJO (the original model: Optimus Vu L-06D) in Japan.
